The EFETc advantage Products held on the EFETc contract do not need to be placed out to bid. Instead you may purchase the desired item(s) off of the contract at a fixed, pre negotiated selling price. Thus, you, the purchaser gets exactly the item(s) he or she wants.
For example, when a requested or specified item goes out to bid, those dreaded terms "Alternate Accepted" can open the door to referendums, unheard of alternate products, and uncertainty of quality. But purchasing through the EFETc eliminates: 1) the need to bid, as we have already negotiated the pricing; 2) questionable "alternate" products from being sold. In addition, most purchasers can expect to get their order faster since they have avoided the entire lengthy (and costly) bid process.
Buy Factory Direct Over the years most contracts have been held by the manufacturer's dealer and not the manufacturer. This being the case, the manufacturer had little or no control about what discount was given, how their product was sold, or how the contract was managed.
However, on the EFETc each manufacturer holds their contract direct, and not its dealers. There are two reasons for this: 1) the EFETc believes their purchasers will get a better discount by dealing factory direct. 2) the manufacturer is held responsible for the purchaser's satisfaction.
This is why EFETc carefully scans all manufacturer brands and applications to ensure only those best priced, best suited, and most capable for meeting the contractual and purchaser demands are selected. Like any opportunity, the benefits are great, but so is the responsibility--that's why we are here!
What We Require Each applying manufacturer will need to . . . 1) register with the EFETc and meet our strict requirements 2) apply for contractual inclusion and provide best pricing 3) submit the application on time, accurate, complete, and true 4) address any unclear areas and supplemental addendum 5) meet all contractual obligations and requirements.
Once approved as an EFETc reseller The manufacturer is responsible to monitor all sales, installation, and purchaser satisfaction.
